Join the St. Clair County Housing and Support Services Workgroup for a virtual event to educate, collaborate, and drive community solutions.
The Housing Summit took place on November, 15 2022 and began with a keynote presentation from Pulitzer Prize winning author Matthew Desmond, PhD. Dr. Desmond is the critically acclaimed author of the book, Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City. Following the keynote speaker, the webinar featured a presentation on local data related to housing and homelessness, a video featuring stories of people with lived experience with homelessness and housing insecurity, and concluded with a panel discussions with local stakeholders and experts.
