Walk 2 Remember, Walk to Prevent is an annual FREE community event held each October. This is the only fundraiser hosted by the Survivors of Suicide (SOS) Prevention Committee, and it plays a vital role in supporting suicide prevention efforts throughout St. Clair County.
Open to the public, this powerful event serves several important purposes:
-
To honor and support survivors as they remember the lives of loved ones lost
-
To help break the stigma surrounding suicide and mental health
-
To connect individuals and families with critical community resources
-
To raise essential funds for local suicide prevention and mental health initiatives
Join us in walking together—not only to remember, but to take meaningful steps toward healing and prevention.
Your presence provides hope, uplifts survivors, raises awareness, and helps fund life-saving programs.
All proceeds benefit the SOS Memorial Garden in East China Park and support ongoing suicide prevention efforts through the SOS Prevention Committee in St. Clair County.
